Drop Shipping is simply selling a product you do not have on hand then after the sale you purchase the products from a wholesale vendor.  This vendor then ships the product directly to your customer. 

Traditional drop shipping has many downfalls, to name a few:
-Low margins ranging from 5-20%
- Products are from overseas vendors which makes shipping and transit time much too long to meet your customers' expectations.
- Duplicated shipping costs if a customer purchases items that are from multiple vendors.

• All products are in stock and ready to ship from our USA based warehouse.  With our quick turnaround time, your customers get their orders fast!  Often, we exceed your customers' expectations.
• We carry products from many of the most popular boutique brands which means when you sell multiple of our items in a single order, they all ship together for 1 low shipping rate.

Whether you are on the Freemium or a Platinum plan determines if you have a monthly membership fee.

Additionally, you pay our wholesale cost for the products you sell along with a shipping fee based on the weight of the order.  

There are no other fees associated with working with Boutique Tree.

Our public Shopify App has been approved and will begin rolling out very soon!  In the meantime, we are utilizing a 3rd party application, Synclogic, to sync our products and orders to your Shopify account.

At this time we are not able to offer Freemium access to a subset of products and Platinum access to others.

For example, you CANNOT be on the Platinum plan for Denim & Shoes and get access to the the rest of the products under the Freemium membership.  You need to subscribe to the Full Product Access Freemium or Platinum plan.

Yes and no.  To get the most out of Boutique Tree you need to have a Shopify account for us to sync our products and for your orders to sync back.  However, Shopify has many apps and integrations that allow you to then sync your Shopify backend to other platforms. 

For example, many clients utilize Comment Sold for their website and mobile app without issue by utilizing the CS<->Shopify application.  

The Boutique Tree drop shipping service is comprehensive and handles a large amount of the work associated with running your boutique.  However, there are still many members that utilize a high-quality Virtual Assistant for the ultimate simplicity in running their business.  While we do not offer VA services directly through Boutique Tree, we are happy to recommend a service with experience working with Boutique Tree members.  Their experience allows them to support members with a high level of efficiency which keeps the cost reasonable.

Absolutely, Comment Sold has an application that will sync your products and orders from Shopify back and forth with Comment Sold.  We have many clients that utilize their Shopify account only to sync our products and orders back and forth from Comment Sold.  

Through our time running Boutique Tree we have learned a lot.  One of the things we have learned is that members that pay a monthly fee take their business much more seriously and in turn are more successful.  Our goal is to offer amazing value and attract boutique owners that are serious about their business. 

It does not take much in monthly revenue for the value of a platinum membership to far outweigh the monthly fee. 

As a wholesaler, we require that you submit your state resale license which allows us to sell to you without collecting or remitting sales tax.  This is typical for all wholesaler/retailer relationships in the USA.

Premium Member Orders: we strive to ship orders within 1-2 business days from when we receive payment.

Freemium Member Orders: we strive to ship orders within 2-4 business days from when we receive payment. 

On rare occasions, such as holidays, large sales, staff illness, etc. Shipping may be delayed.

We will communicate with you via email if there are any significant unforeseen shipping delays.

We keep shipping easy with flat rates based on the total order weight.  Below are the flat shipping rates:

• 0 to 3.9 ounces:$4.00
• 4 to 15.9 ounces: $6.30
• 1lbs or over: $10.50

Keep in mind that you are charging your customers shipping or utilizing free shipping as a promotion.  If you were shipping the products, shipping would be comparable to our overall rates.  While this is a cost you submit to Boutique Tree, It is a pass through cost.  You collect shipping, send it to us, and we pay the shipping carrier.

It is coming!!! Our public Shopify app has this functionality and will begin rolling out to members very soon.  In the meantime, Synclogic does not perform this sync which requires tracking to be copy/pasted into your orders.  This is a simple task and if you need a VA recomendation to do this for you while our app is rolled out then please contact us.

You sure can!  The ability to combine orders can save you a significant amount of money.  Especially if your customers are used to placing multiple orders during a live show.
